This build happened out of accident, and has commanded the majority of wrist time since it's been put together. I purchased a brand new SPRC23 Anthracite Turtle to use the movement and amazing dial in an SKX build, then scrapped the idea in favour of swapping the movement to my SRP637 Baby Tuna case. This left me with a bare Turtle case and a Tuna movement, amidst various other parts. To stand this build out from the rest (and in turn ensure wrist time), I opted for a red & black 'coke' lumed sapphire insert from LCBI.
The bare bones of this build: - Seiko 4R36 movement, dial and handset from a SRP637 Baby Tuna - SRP Turtle case - Single dome sapphire crystal - Lumed chapter ring - 22mm Strapcode Super Engineer II bracelet - LCBI lumed sapphire bezel insert - Replacement OEM click spring - Oyster bracelet - Coin edge replacement bezel
After test fitting the Anthracite movement to the SRP637 case, you can see why I chose to change my build plans - it looks like it is meant to be..!
