This Seiko SRP647 "Baby Tuna" underwent a crystal upgrade from the factory mineral (Seiko's propitiatory Hardlex) to sapphire. I chose a double dome, with purple anti-reflective coating for an unmistakable flash of colour when it catches the light.
Being an all-steel case with a rather muted black dial, this timepiece suits a wide variety of straps (both colour & design); just take a look at the photo gallery below for evidence.
At 47.5mm diameter, this is a large watch. On wrist it has been described by many collectors with much broader collections than myself as one of the most comfortable timepieces - this is in part due to the relatively short lugs protruding from the case. This allows the watch to fit the natural curvature of a medium to large sized wrist with ease. For reference my wrist is 7in diameter, and whilst it is large it does not look obnoxious.
Next up for this one is a "Super Engineer" bracelet to match the bulk.
