Rolex Air King

This lovely classic Air King was delivered for assessment & rectification of the case and bracelet. Upon initial assessment there are multiple scratches and marks evident on the polished bezel, brushed clasp and oyster bracelet as well as a number of chips in the sapphire crystal.

Watch this space as I work on the exterior surfaces to restore the lustre from new.

I commenced work on the polished bezel & case sides, restoring as much lustre as I could whilst gently removing the marring & scratches from years of use.

The bracelet & clasp are brushed from factory, however to remove the scratches I was required to polish these areas (which in turn makes them shiny). I reinstated the factory brushing after the polish phase.

After polishing & washing, I applied a ceramic coating to protect the case, bezel, bracelet and crystal. Here's a pic of the first layer curing to the sapphire crystal.
