Project "Stardust"

Having a dress watch build well underway with Project Kanagawa I opted to build myself something similar. The build will revolve around the dial, for which I've opted a limited edition "Stardust" no-date from Lucius Atelier. As a 1/50 item, the build will have the dial as the focal point. To add a little flair I've opted for dauphine hands with a blued second hand, and a matching domed sapphire crystal with blue AR.

The bare bones of this build:
 - Bare case from a Seiko 5 SNK
 - NH36 movement
 - Stardust dial from Lucius Atelier
 - Dauphine hands (with a blued second hand)
 - Flat mineral crystal

The Build

After receiving these parts, I undertook the build by assembling the movement, dial & dauphine handset. I then installed the new movement into the watch case.

The Finished Project

After installing the dial and handset & testing the movement, I installed it in the case. Following, I sourced a Milanese bracelet perfect for the purposes of this watch. This adds a little flair without taking away from the focal point of this timepiece; the incredible limited edition dial by Lucius Atelier.
